The wool becomes a light canvas upon which to imprint sensations. The bands of colours inter-play and from their rhythm emerge four different moments. The warmth and variety of the dyes make these rugs ideal for renewing the appearance of the home or to simply modify it with an easy gesture. Si-è-sta are made in pure New Zealand wool, dyed with non-toxic colorants and hand-woven on traditional Indian looms according to the age-old Indian Dhurrie technique. Fundamental characteristics of wool are its excellent thermal isolation, good protection against humidity and naturally high fireproof quality
Colours and sizes
Si-é-sta rugs are available in size 200 x 300 cm: Grigio, Marrone, Ocra and Terracotta
Maintenance:
- The natural fibre is photosensitive: it tends to gradually soften the surface and change the chromatic tone according to the amount of light in the room
- For daily cleaning, a vacuum cleaner is sufficient
- Can be dry-cleaned, at specialist dry-cleaners (do not use vapour as the elevated temperature could ruin the quality of the wool)
- We strongly advise using an anti-slip under-mat for safety, and to give softness and body to the rug, indispensable on wooden floors, carpets and marble also to prevent any colour staining
